Is your family gearing up for Halloween? Have you decorated? Planned your costumes? Kmart can help with all of that and more. They’ve got some fabulous deals going on right now too!
Every Friday and Saturday leading up to Halloween, costumes are 50% off! We planned early this year so we already had our costumes before I went shopping at Kmart but they have a really large selection of costumes. I was seriously impressed. From baby costumes to adult costumes with some pretty creative options, tons of accessories, costume make up and more, you won’t have a problem finding something awesome for every member of the family.
Since we already had our costumes I focused more on decorating. We are living somewhere temporarily so the majority of our belongings are in storage, including our Halloween items. Since we’ll be moving soon I didn’t want a ton of stuff to move but still wanted to decorate the porch for my kids and neighborhood trick-or-treaters. Kmart gave me a $100 gift card to spend. Here’s what I picked out:
I started with a Halloween storage bin so I could keep everything organized and easy to move. These orange bins were only $5.99.
Next I chose a large focal point —This friendly inflatable with a cute pumpkin, ghost and black cat. I didn’t want anything too scary and the neighborhood kids LOVE this! You just plug it in and it blows itself up. There is a light inside that illuminates the whole thing making it look really cool at night. This was on sale for $34.99.
I wanted my kids to be involved with the decorating so I picked up a little “project”. The little ghosts lining the porch had to be stuffed with paper, stuffed on a stick then poked into the ground. They only cost a couple of bucks and my kids had a great time making them.
For a big effect without spending much money, go for the fake spider webs — a big pack sells for $2.99 and stretches a long way. I added this black spider web hanging — it was only $2.99 too!
My son really loves Star Wars so when I saw this Yoda Pumpkin Push In set I knew I had to get it for him. It was $9.99 and pumpkins were on sale 2 for $1o.
I thought it would be fun to play some Halloween music on the porch on Halloween night so I picked up this CD for $7.99.
And what’s Halloween without CANDY?! When I shopped at Kmart a few weeks ago they had a deal where Shop Your Way Rewards Members saved $4 instantly when they bought any 4 bags of Hershey’s, Mars, or Nestle chocolate fun-size or snack-size bags. They were on sale for $2.99 each so it came out to $7.96 total or just $1.99 a bag! They also had these HUGE 100 and 200 piece bags of candy for $10.99 and $11.99. Perfect for a big party or lots of trick-or-treaters!
I got ALL of this for just over $100 and had so much fun shopping the Kmart Halloween selection.
If you miss the weekend sale, shop through 10/18 – Halloween Costumes are on sale (over 4,000 to choose from) plus FREE Shipping on Costumes $39.99 and over with code SPOOKYSHIP.

A complimentary gift card was provided for this review, however, all opinions expressed are my own. I was not compensated in any other way. See Mommies With Cents disclosure policy for more details.
